description
Bubble charts display three variables: two using position and a third used for the circles' size. They are similar to scatter plots with the crucial difference of having varying size for the dots.
They are useful when the volume like quantity related to the entities is to be shown beyond the correlations provided by the positions.
It can be very crowded if too many data points are shown. Also, if the size dimension spans multiple scales, small bubbles are hard to detect.
